Summer Youth Tennis Programs
The summer youth tennis programs are a partnership between the Decatur Athletic Club (DAC) and the United States Tennis Association (USTA).
- $99 for 3 to 5 year olds
- $199 for 6 to 11 year olds
This is an opportunity to introduce our younger community to the sport of tennis. Classes are divided by age with plenty of instructors available, so each participant receives focused instruction based on ability.
Classes meet once a week for ten consecutive weeks.

Once the sessions are completed a special tournament will be held at DAC for the summer participants, so they can showcase what they have learned in front of family and friends. The date and details will be finalized and shared by June 30th.
Summer Head Start Tennis Program
The DAC Summer Head Start Program is a partnership between the Decatur Athletic Club (DAC) and the United States Tennis Association (USTA).
- $599 (30 hours) for 9- to 13-year-olds
- $799 (40 hours) for high school players
Payment may be divided into two parts due May 23rd and July 4th, respectively.
This program provides a lot of quality court time to give some a head start on their competition and for others an opportunity to learn how to play tennis.
Players of all levels are welcome. Classes are divided by age with plenty of instructors available, so each participant receives focused instruction based on ability.

Who Should Participate?
High school students who have never played before but are considering joining their high school team during the 2025 – 2026 school year.
Students who have never played before and want to learn the basics of the sport.
Players who want to take advantage of their summer vacation and get 30 or 40 hours of quality instruction and play in during the off-season, so they are better prepared for upcoming competitions.

Compass Challenge

2025 Compass Tournament Challenge
These ten tournaments are open to grade school through high school students that can serve and keep score. The goal is to acquire as many points as possible. After the final tournament, there will be an auction where participants use their points to bid on prizes.
The registration deadline for each tournament is the Monday prior to the event. Late
