A lesson can be completed with any available DAC pickleball instructor.
The payment must be made in advance with cash, personal check, or credit card.
If you pay with a credit card, a 3% service fee will be added. There are no refunds.
If a lesson is cancelled less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment, the client will be charged for the lesson.

DAC PICKLEBALL OPEN PLAY
Pickleball Open Play (POP) is a casual, recreational setting where players of all skill levels can join in to play pickleball without pre-arranged matches, essentially allowing anyone to show up and rotate partners on the court to play against different people. It's a great way to meet new players and enjoy the game in a social environment without pressure to compete at a high level.
Members and Pickleball Permit holders can participate in POP for free.
Non-members need to pay $10 per time slot.
Non-members must have a guest profile set up at DAC prior to participating in POP.
DAC lists time slots on Playtime Scheduler five days before; however, participants must sign up for POP time slots on the DAC app to be officially rostered for the respective time slot.
Once a profile is set up, the member or non-member can download the free DAC app.
On the app, go to classes, categories, and select Pickleball Open Play.
The player limit is six people per court. The number of courts available may vary.
Rosters are “first-come, first-served.” Sign-ups open eight days before the respective time slot on the DAC app.
There is a waiting list, limited to four people per court. If a spot becomes available, the app automatically contacts the first person on the waiting list. That person has 30 minutes to accept the spot, or it will be offered to the next person on the waiting list.
The app also allows a person to remove themselves from the roster. If someone rosters for a time slot and is still on the roster when the time slot begins - and then does not show up - they will be charged a no-show fee of $3. Because space is limited, it is important that the rosters are accurate.
Participants must check in at the front desk prior to entering the court area.
Competitive Pickleball Open Play
Some POP time slots may be designated as competitive for players who have 3.5+ ratings. These time slots are for those wanting to play at a higher level with others who have a comparable skill set. Please respect these special time slots.

DAC is not “policing” POP. It is designed to be social and recreational. It is not designed to be a “free” reservation for a specific group of players. Players should rotate appropriately, so everyone has an opportunity to participate.
PICKLEBALL PERMIT: If a player does not want to join DAC but wants to participate in a lot of open play during the fall and winter, then consider the Pickleball Permit. It is only $59 per month and can be cancelled anytime after three months. Permit holders get free and unlimited open play!
