ELITE EIGHT GUIDELINES

DAC has over 1,500 people using our entire facility, so we are all sharing the space with others. We put together the following “Elite Eight” guidelines for the fitness center to ensure all members and non-members are on the same page regarding expectations. If you have any questions about the fitness center rules, please let us know.

  1. Wear Proper Attire: Please wear appropriate clothing at the club. DAC is a family-friendly environment with people from a wide age range, including children.
  2. Use Good Hygiene: Please wear appropriate footwear when working out. We understand some members do certain exercises without footwear; however, please put your footwear on when walking around the fitness center.
  3. No Profanity: DAC is a family-friendly environment. Please do not use inappropriate language out of respect for other members and staff.
  4. Be Respectful: If a staff member offers you assistance with the machines or advice on technique, you can respectfully decline their help and they will honor your wishes.
  5. Be Polite: Some members like to socialize when working out while others like to keep to themselves. Please respect how others like to train.
  6. Share the Equipment: When resting between sets, please move away from the equipment you are using in case someone else would like to use it. Do not rest on machines and benches.
  7. Pick up Weights: When finished using free weights, barbells, dumbbells, or benches, please return them to the appropriate racks or spots so others can use them.
  8. Keep it Clean: After using a weight machine, bench, or cardio equipment, please take a moment and clean it so it is immediately ready for the next member.
