- 8:30 – 10:30 am
After those first two weeks, then the schedule will be the following:
- Monday, Wednesday, Friday
- 8:30 – 11:30 am
Guidelines:
KidZone hours are limited. We strongly encourage you to follow us on Facebook where we will post any changes to the KidZone hours.
Kids must be between the ages of six months to 12 years old.
The parent will need to complete a minor waiver for each household children that might be using the KidZone. This form only needs to be completed once per child.
Check-in at the front desk, pay the visit rate and receive a receipt to pass along to the KidZone staff when checking your child into the KidZone. The same parent that checks the child in will need to check the child out from the KidZone. Children will not be allowed to leave the KidZone without a parent signature.
If you are a member and have a DAC Club Account set-up, you can charge KidZone fees to that account. For more information about the DAC Club Account, click here or ask a staff member.
If there is no child in the KidZone, DAC staff will move to the fitness center to assist. If you need to put a child in the KidZone during scheduled hours, please find a staff member and they will contact the appropriate staff member for you.
The parent(s) must remain on the DAC premises during the time the child is in the KidZone.
Parents of children in diapers will need to supply their own diapers and accessories. A staff member will locate the parent if the diaper needs to be changed.
The DAC staff is not responsible for the toys your child brings with them. Make sure any toys brought into the KidZone room are large enough not to fit into a child’s mouth.
Children with fevers, pink eye, runny noses, coughs, colds, or any other symptoms of a potential illness will not be allowed in KidZone. DAC staff will error on the side of caution when a decision needs to be made in these situations.
Grandparents:
DAC recognizes there may be special situations where grandparents may be watching children for an extended length and may want to bring younger children to DAC.
The minor waiver will still need to be completed by the parents of the grandchildren, so please let DAC know what you are planning to do in advance to make sure everything is in order before the grandchildren visit.
Snacks:
When it comes to snacks, simple snacks are allowed. Please be mindful of both choking and allergen hazards to ensure the safety of all children. Here are some points to consider:
- Avoid snacks that could potentially be choking hazards such as those that are small and round (grapes, blueberries, tomatoes), hard or crunchy (raw carrots, popcorn), chewy (mummy candies, marshmallows, gum), and large chunks (cheese cubes, hot dogs, sausages).
- Avoid bring snacks with common allergens such as peanuts, tree nuts, eggs, and soy.
- Make sure all snacks are labeled.
