Circuit training is a form of body conditioning or resistance training using high-intensity aerobics. It targets strength building or muscular endurance. An exercise “circuit” is one completion of all prescribed exercises in the program. Group training classes are designed to assist you in getting acquainted with the fitness center. They are a fun way to work out with friends, make new friends, and get new workout routines. Group circuit classes include strength training, cardiovascular exercise, or a combination of both.

TRX stands for Total Body Resistance Exercise. This type of exercise focuses on suspension training and the movements of the body while suspended. The workouts are designed to work the core muscles and increase strength. TRX moves target different parts of your body while also raising your heartbeat. Many exercises done on the TRX suspension cables integrate many muscles, which require oxygen. Born in the Navy SEALs, Suspension Training bodyweight exercise develops strength, balance, flexibility and core stability simultaneously. It requires the use of the TRX Suspension Trainer, a tool that leverages gravity and the user’s body weight to complete hundreds of exercises. $7.00 per class

What is myTREADzone ?

It’s a 30 minute treadmill workout for MyZone members.  It is appropriate for walkers, joggers or runners to maximize your cardio workout with heart zone training. · treadmills  may be reserved 24 hours before class. · You may only sign up for yourself. There will be a $5.00 no-show fee for those who have a reservation and do not cancel an hour before class
